Dark Romance Collage Kindle Case Insert, Gothic Academia Art Print (Physical)

A moody memento mori collage for readers who like their pages shadowed and their romance a little haunted. Torn paper scraps carry the Latin refrains memento mori, memento vivere and memento amoris in delicate script, each one pressed against a background of deep black, smoke and velvet red.

The gothic dark academia artwork layers a goblet ringing with candlelight, a fine line anatomical heart, a rib cage and spine study, and a scattering of white ink roses and leaves drawn on darkness. Red satin folds and crimson petals bleed into the corners, while a pale mouth painted oxblood, an all seeing eye, an antique key, a luna moth, a skull beside dried roses, a lit cathedral clock tower and a row of guttering black candles fill out the rest of the moodboard. A silvered portrait at the center and a hand lettered xoxo in the lower corner give the whole vampire aesthetic collage its romantic, whispered edge.

A quiet celebration of mortality and love for anyone drawn to whimsigoth collage art, Victorian gothic symbolism, dark romance reading and candlelit black and red palettes.

Sized to fit the 2024 (12th generation) Kindle Paperwhite and Colorsoft, which share the same screen size. Each one is made to order, printed on premium cardstock and trimmed by hand, then shipped ready to slip into place for a hauntingly romantic reading nook.
